The Right Channel for Every Question
paycheck-calculators.org/ is an editorial publisher of free paycheck tools. We cannot file a return, change your withholding, or speak for the IRS. This page explains exactly what we can help with, what we cannot, and where to send each kind of question.
What We Can Help With
- Reports that a calculator is using an outdated rate (IRS bracket, SSA wage base, state rate, FLSA threshold) — top-priority correction queue
- Reports that a formula does not match the published source — with the citation
- Reports of calculator bugs, broken inputs, or wrong currency formatting
- Reports of broken links to IRS, SSA, DOL, BLS, or state-agency official pages
- State privacy-rights requests (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CTDPA, CPA, UCPA, TDPSA, OCPA, etc.)
- Cookie preferences and consent queries
- Accessibility issues, including with mobile and assistive-technology use
- DMCA / copyright takedown notices under 17 U.S.C. §512
- Embed and partnership requests for calculator licensing
- Press queries about the site, methodology, or editorial decisions
What We Cannot Help With
The items below need a licensed professional or the agency itself, not an editorial calculator site.
- Filing a federal or state tax return — use a CPA, enrolled agent, the IRS directly, or a licensed tax-filing service
- Changing your W-4 withholding with your employer — that is between you and your employer
- Resolving an IRS or state-tax notice or audit — contact the IRS at irs.gov / 1-800-829-1040, your state department of revenue, or a tax professional
- Wage-theft, overtime, or minimum-wage complaints — the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division at dol.gov/agencies/whd
- Personalized salary negotiation, retirement planning, or investment advice — consult a licensed financial advisor
- A specific paycheck dispute — contact your payroll department first
- Paid placement or “preferred” calculator placement — we do not accept these
